Real Weddings: A Lakeside Dream
Mealla and David's September wedding at Sheen Falls Lodge unfolded as a tribute to the charm of nature that surrounds them. Choosing the Boathouse for their ceremony, they found the perfect canvas for their lakeside beauty vision.
Nature seamlessly blended into the celebration, with golden reeds and grasses weaving through every creation, complemented by the presence of thistles and dune flowers. Bringing the outdoors inside, pew ends adorned with pampas, dried bracken, and dock transformed the ceremony space into a reflection of Kenmare's captivating landscape.
The true pièce de résistance emerged with the deconstructed arch gracing the entrance of the Boathouse. Going beyond a mere deconstructed aesthetic, the arch lived up to its name, breaking into five distinct pieces. These pieces later found a new purpose adorning the William Petty Suite and reception area, creating a cohesive connection between ceremony and celebration.
Mealla and David's choice of the Sheen Falls Lodge showcased the inherent beauty of Kenmare Bay, proving that minimal adornment was needed in the presence of such natural splendor. This real wedding is a testament to the harmonious integration of nature's beauty into a celebration, leaving a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to witness it.
