Tree Planting Day
Enhancing Hen Harrier Habitat

On Saturday, 1st March, from 11 AM to 3 PM, we are hosting a tree planting day on our flower farm, and we’d love for you to join us.

As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability and biodiversity, we will be planting 650 native trees, carefully designed to mimic the natural forest edge. This is a crucial habitat for the endangered hen harrier, a bird of prey that relies on diverse landscapes for nesting and hunting. By increasing tree cover and hedgerows, we are helping to restore and protect this fragile ecosystem.

This is more than just a planting day—it’s an opportunity to make a lasting impact on local wildlife, learn more about sustainable growing and conservation, and experience the beauty of nature firsthand. The day will include a guided farm walk, giving insight into our approach to land stewardship, and we will provide refreshments to keep everyone fuelled.

Whether you’re passionate about nature, interested in conservation, or simply looking for a rewarding way to spend time outdoors, we welcome you to be part of this important project.

Come along, plant a tree, and help shape a thriving habitat for the future.
